There was a lovable puppy who was approximately 4-5 months old. Unfortunately, people avoided her because of her deformed legs. She resided in an open field and kindhearted individuals provided her with food and necessities to stay alive until she encountered volunteers from the Sheremetyevo Dog Shelter.
Upon noticing the issue, they immediately rushed her to the vet without fully comprehending the gravity of the situation. They sought professional advice from the doctor to determine the best course of action. Some veterinarians suggested amputation and utilizing a wheelchair for mobility.
Despite facing difficulties, the caretakers were determined to help Kissmi and sought out numerous doctors for assistance. In the meantime, Kissmi enjoyed her meals and although she was shy, she was also curious. As a young puppy, she craved attention and affection, which she received from those around her. With the name Kissmi, she was a wonderful puppy who loved hugs and caresses. When she first met a chiropractor, she was initially afraid but soon realized that they were there to help her. Her strength at a young age was a source of happiness and hope for her caretakers, as they embarked on a long journey towards recovery. Following the doctor’s instructions at home, they returned with joy and hope for the future.
Yesterday, she enjoyed a massage with special oils that help improve bone strength and blood flow. The doctor’s method proved effective as her legs appear noticeably slimmer. It’s been three weeks since Kissmi has been getting around with a cast on.
Things were looking up as we decided to purchase a custom-made splint for her and continued with regular massages and vitamin supplements. However, the road to recovery was not without its challenges. Our persistent efforts were met with resistance as she struggled to adjust to the splint. Nevertheless, we persevered through sweat, tears, and time. In the end, all our hard work paid off, and the transformation was truly remarkable.
She will always remember that unforgettable day when she ran with so much joy and excitement, experiencing the feeling of running for the very first time.
