On the night of Christmas Eve 22, a pregnant Mam Nata was abandoned outside the International Animal Protection Agency (IAPA). She is estimated to be around 8 weeks pregnant and is close to giving birth.
Instituto Amor em Patas (IAPA) discovered a weak and fearful dog who couldn’t even stand up. The reason behind her abandonment was the fear of her approaching puppies by her previous owner. Initially, she was quite guarded and didn’t allow anyone to come near her. However, after some time, she felt comfortable and became friendly with the volunteers. Upon examining her, it was discovered that she was carrying around 13 or 14 puppies. A volunteer stated that they would conduct her test the next day as she was quite weak. That night was very long for Natajuli and the volunteers as they prepared her for an ultrasound to ensure everything was going smoothly. Thankfully, Natajuli was able to deliver all her babies successfully with the help of the shelter staff. There were a total of fourteen adorable puppies that were born.
The vet recently examined Natajuli and her 14 puppies for a quick health check, ultrasound, and blood tests. Natajuli looked quite happy but was slightly embarrassed. On the other hand, her 14 little ones were adorable, chubby, and weighed quite a bit. The sight of them all made the observer teary-eyed with joy, and they couldn’t resist the urge to shower the puppies with kisses.
