In Jackson, Missouri, Mac’s Mission, a rescue organization, recently discovered a puppy and an older dog wandering alone outside in the chilly weather. However, this particular puppy is not just an ordinary one; he appears to have a “tail” protruding from his forehead. Although the tail does not wag like a typical one, it is certainly a unique feature that rescuers have never seen before. The rescuers decided to name him Narwhal, “the little wonderful furry unicorn,” as it reminds them of a horn on a unicorn.
Narwhal has sustained a foot injury that needs medical attention. To address this, the rescue team is bringing him to the veterinarian for an x-ray and an evaluation of his face and tail. The good news is that despite his injury, Narwhal remains cheerful and is doing well. Thanks to the heroic efforts of the rescuers, Narwhal will not have to endure the harsh cold weather alone.
Located in Jackson, Missouri, Mac’s Mission is a sanctuary that focuses on rescuing dogs and other furry friends who have urgent special needs or injuries that may lead to euthanasia if they are not assisted.
Although their focus is on Pit Bulls, they are open to helping any breed in need. They provide assistance to all breeds with special needs, as well as homeless animals that otherwise would not have a chance of survival due to a lack of resources from sanctuaries and other rescues.
