Ralph spotted Harley paddling out to the middle of the lake, and upon closer inspection, he realized that Harley was not alone. A baby deer was also in the water, trying to get back to shore. Proud of his heroic dog, Ralph shared that the deer’s mother eventually came back for her baby. Even on land, Harley continued to protect and care for the deer by licking and interacting with it.
The following day, Dorn and his 64-year-old wife, Patricia, noticed something strange while enjoying their morning coffee. Harley, their dog, seemed agitated as he ran from window to window. When Dorn opened the front door, they heard a fawn bleating nearby. Without hesitation, Harley dashed off into the woods and found the fawn. The two animals touched noses and sniffed each other before Harley calmly returned home with Dorn. It was a heartwarming moment as if the deer wanted to express its gratitude to Harley for rescuing it. Later on, the fawn reunited with its mother and wandered off.
